Digital Learning

Short videos, worksheets, and weekly livestream kids classes engage campers as they learn about their emotions, and practice communicating their thoughts and feelings.

Mindful Movement

Creative movement activities and games designed to expend energy and counter screen time with imaginative play!

Arts & Science

Hands-on experiments and crafts where campers describe and share what they’ve discovered about themselves and the world around them.

Mini Meditation

Campers go inward with brief guided meditations to develop patience, confidence and insight.

Activities

Campers learn new ways of playing, building friendships and working together.

We’ll see the world through someone else’s eyes to develop compassion and interconnection.

We practice the art of gratitude, and learn the joy of sharing our creations with others!

Campers are sent outside to explore the life around them, and stay connected to nature!

Responsibility

Campers see how their actions affect each other. They practice telling the truth, and explore their impact on the lives of others.

Benefits: empowered to make change, notice interconnectedness, value truth-telling

Patience

Campers learn and practice diffusing and regulating difficult emotions. Patience becomes a fun game.

Benefits: identifying & communicating emotions, emotional regulation, and tantrum prevention

Joy

Campers create happiness and wellbeing from the inside out, no matter what’s going on.

Benefits: learning how to celebrate the moment, taking on challenges with joy

Paying Attention

Campers strengthen their memories with concentration games and develop inner discipline.

About Our Director

Sarah Blackburn

Sarah is an adaptable, highly creative Curriculum Developer, Teacher Trainer, and Early Childhood Specialist. She has a proven record of transmitting complex ideas to children and adults of all ages using innovative teaching tools that are effective and fun.

As the Associate Director of Bilingual Birdies - a New York City based children's language and music program, she thrived for 11-years as a natural leader and close advisor for a small business that has grown to be an international staple among early childhood language programs.

Sarah is also an avid meditator, and life long learner of eastern philosophy.  Her deep love of meditation and yoga combined with her expertise designing and implementing curriculum for young children has led her to teach in several kids' camps across Asia as one of the primary Youth Coordinators specializing in mindful movement and meditation. She has also completed two meditation teacher trainings - one at The Interdependence Project founded by Ethan Nichtern and dedicated to making meditation secular and accessible, and the other at the Three Jewel Outreach Center, a non-profit founded by Geshe Michael Roach that is changing the tide of wellness in the New York and beyond. In her spare time, Sarah is the volunteer Director of Membership at Three Jewels, and enjoys making music, cooking, studying eastern philosophy and guiding meditation on social media.
